  • Reduced stress for both of you. Planning a visit to Jackson Hole and leaving your dog behind is tough on both of you. This time, you don’t have to worry about that! There is no need for a pet sitter, you can both indulge in time away in the mountains.
  • Outdoor fun. Dogs love being outdoors in nature. Now, they have the opportunity to do just that with other furry friends!

Things to Do With Your Dog

There is so much to do at The Hatchet during Golden Days. The days are long, and your pup is sure to release all their energy from sun-up to sun-down— finishing the day by relaxing under the stars.

Nope, these special rates require only a two night minimum. Stay with your fur family as long as you wish!

Yes, well behaved canines have several areas within the greater 100 square miles of Jackson Hole where you may release the hounds.

Yes, our normal pet fee is $35 per stay, however we do waive it during Golden Days each year.

Yes! The Hatchet has two restaurants on site that serve breakfast and dinner each day. And if you wish to have us make a sack lunch for your travels, we’d be happy to get you all set up for the next day’s adventure.

Yes! Although the Hatchet is remotely located (perfect for stretching those doggie legs) we have a general store with sundries and snacks along with gas pumps to refuel your vehicle.

Absolutely! Just mention that you’d like to meet other pet parents and with your permission we’ll put you in touch with others attending that week.

Sure! Puppies love to play in the snow right? What better playground than our left-over snow piles to summit and play on!

Typically, May weather can be a smidge chilly in the mornings and evenings, just pack a sweater and prepare to let your pooch entertain you while fetching a snowball!

Be sure to pack the essentials for your pet to create a comfortable and enjoyable stay. That means favorite bedding, food, water bowl, favorite toys, and so forth. Also, bring a leash with a collar or harness.

No, there are no breed restrictions, but we do ask that your pup is well-behaved and gets along with others.
