Hiking in Yellowstone & Grand Teton

Explore wildlife-filled valleys and high-elevation alpine terrain, Jackson Hole and the greater Yellowstone ecosystem offer some of the best hiking in the world. There truly is something for everyone. Hikers can enjoy short walks through a rolling meadow or all-day and overnight trips in mountainous terrain.

Wildlife sightings are common while hiking in our secluded area. Our forest access adjacent to the Hatchet allows for over 600 miles of hiking trails. Wildflowers are visible throughout spring and summer and fall colors are equally beautiful in September and October. Swing by the gift shop for water, snacks and bear spray as you take to the back country. And please let someone know your plans, particularly if you hike solo.
