Grand Teton & Yellowstone National Parks

Our nation’s first national park, Yellowstone is only 30 miles from the Hatchet. Even closer just three miles from the Hatchet, Grand Teton National Park is ranked #1 in North America for viewing wildlife.
Enjoy the drive as you head up into the Parks. Breathtaking views abound along with amazing opportunities for photographing wildlife.

The perfect route for a day in Yellowstone from the Hatchet is traveling the park’s lower loop, which takes visitors to the renowned Old Faithful and upper Geyser Basin areas, as well as the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone and Yellowstone Lake. Hatchet guests can reach the stunning hikes beneath Grand Teton National Park’s tallest peaks in half an hour.

Shed an hour off your drive to access the Parks by getting a head start from the Hatchet. Few lodging sites offer this ease of access to both parks; fewer still offer all of the amenities available at the Hatchet.
