About Our Rooms
We do hospitality, not assembly line experiences.
All of the rooms have been crafted in western-style log with fresh new amenities. Each room has been upgraded with a state of the art flat screen television (40”), new beds, new linens, new carpeting, coffee maker and Wi-Fi access. The Hatchet offers several different types of lodging to accommodate a variety of tastes and budgets.
Our signature, historic lodging is showcased throughout the property. The east wing log building that hosts our Standard rooms maintains the 1950’s exterior [Teton County Historical Preservation Board]; while opening to beautifully rustic new interiors. Built with lodge pole pine from nearby forests back in 1954, the Hatchet was instrumental to the beginning of tourism in the Jackson Hole region.
There are four suites on the west side of the property that can be connected (in pairs) for larger families. Each suite has a mini-refrigerator, microwave, 40” flat screen television, coffee maker, vaulted ceilings and views of the Teton Range. The A-frame Osprey House on property has two levels providing a total of five bedrooms and two bathrooms (one upstairs, one downstairs), a living room and a kitchen. This home has separate access for the upstairs and the downstairs in the event that it is rented to two separate families.
All rooms at the Hatchet are non-smoking. We welcome guests with pets.
